Readers Theater

Know an aspiring performer? Sign them up for Readers Theater! Readers Theater is a more low-key version of traditional theater, in which actors read directly from scripts (no memorization required here!) and perform with just a minimal amount of props, blocking, and costumes - though don’t let that fool you! Readers Theater is living proof that less can be more. Readers Theater meets once a week to read through scripts, with a focus on improving vocabulary and fluency, and to prepare for upcoming performances. This free program is open to children in grades 2 and up. Registration begins in September. Please call the library for more information (724-588-5490).
