Memory / Honor Gifts:
The Greenville Area Public Library accepts monetary donations to memorialize or honor an individual, family, or group. While any donation amount is welcomed - and will be acknowledged by cards sent to the donor and a designated individual - a minimum donation of $30 is required for the inclusion of a book plate in an item. Any donation below this amount will be added to the memorial fund and used to purchase items for the collection.

The Library cannot accept books for memorial or honor donations. Book donations are accepted as described in the Donation Policy. Such donations will not receive a memorial or honor plate.While requests for specific titles will be considered, the Library has the final decision on what will be added to the collection. Items purchased in memorial or in honor become part of the general collection. Items are not held in the collection forever and will be removed from the collection according to the Weeding Policy.
