This evening’s storyhour highlights the letters U, V, and W . StoryHour encourages preschoolers and early readers to develop and practice good listening skills and library manners while also working to instill in them a lifelong love of reading and stories. Each week, a different theme is explored through interactive storytelling, including puppets, storyboards, finger plays, songs, and skits, followed by a take home craft that reinforces the theme of the hour. Guest readers from within the community have also been known to drop by! This spring we are exploring the alphabet with a focus on a different letter (or two!) each week. This free program is open to children ages 3-7. Please call (724-588-5490) or visit the children’s circulation desk to preregister.
