A Year of Exploration

This year's reading challenge through Beanstack is not as vast as last year's, but hopefully it's as exciting.

To go along with the 2022 summer theme, "Oceans of Possibility," we have a nautical-themed yearly challenge to explore new books, introduce yourself to new ideas, and learn about our world.

To complete the challenge, earn at least 10 of the 13 badges, which range from "A New Country" -- where you'll be challenged to read a book that takes place in a country you've never visited -- to "Traveler's Tales" -- which asks you read a book someone has written about their travels.

Other challenges include exploring new genres, authors, ethnicities, and religious beliefs as well as new twists on a classic story, finding recommendations in strange places, reading a book originally written in another language, and more.
