Congolese Culture through Story & Song with Clarisse Amani. Clarisse Amani has presented Congolese folk tales, songs, and games to hundreds of preschool and elementary-aged children in Erie. Learn some traditional children’s songs in both English and Swahili, hear an African folktale, try a traditional game, and learn how to carry a baby on your back or a package on your head. All ages welcome (children attending must be accompanied by an adult). No registration necessary. [This project is made possible in part by federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries.]
