Know an aspiring performer? Sign them up for Reader’s Theater! Reader’s Theater is a more low-key version of traditional theater, in which actors read directly from scripts (no memorization required here!) and perform with just a minimal amount of props, blocking, and costumes - though don’t let that fool you! Reader’s Theater is living proof that less can be more. Reader’s Theater meets once a week to read through scripts, with a focus on improving vocabulary and fluency, and to prepare for upcoming performances. Performance themes will be St. Patrick’s Day (Wed., March 15) and Earth Day (Sat., April 22). This free program is open to children in grades 2 and up. Registration for the spring session is full; please check back in the summer or fall for the next opportunity to participate.
