Know an aspiring performer? Sign them up for Reader’s Theater! Reader’s Theater is a more low-key version of traditional theater, in which actors read directly from scripts (no memorization required here!) and perform with just a minimal amount of props, blocking, and costumes - though don’t let that fool you! Reader’s Theater is living proof that less can be more. Reader’s Theater meets once a week to practice “Who Stole Santa’s List,” with a focus on improving vocabulary and fluency, and to prepare for a Dec. 16 performance. This free program is open to children in grades 2 and up. Registration is now closed for this program; check back for future information about the next Reader’s Theater program for late winter / early spring.
