Children’s Programs

Registration for the 2025 Summer Reading Program, Color Our World, will begin on May 27! Here’s a sneak peek at what programs we’ll be having for children of all ages:

Color Our World Summer Reading Kickoff Event - Sat., June 7, 10am-12pm. A fun morning with games and crafts for families with children of all ages.

The Birth - Kindergarten age group will have several fun programs to pick from: Story Time Adventurers on Tuesdays (ages 3-5), My 1st Story Time on Wednesdays (ages Birth - 18 mo.), TPP Mini Movers on Thursdays (ages Birth - 3), and Budding Bookworms on Fridays (ages 18 mo.-3).

The Grades 1 - 6 age group will have the following programs to join in the fun with: True Colors Group on Wednesdays (grades 1-3), Design Time Group on Thursdays (grades 4-6), Edible Art day on Tuesday, June 10 (grades 1-6), and Chillin’ with Chapters day on Tuesday, June 24 (grades 1-6).

There will also be two Family Movie Saturdays (Harold and the Purple Crayon - June 14; Moana 2 - July 5), a Mom and Me Jewelry Day on June 28, two PAWS to Read events with the therapy dogs (June 17 and July 15), and a fun finale event at the end of the Summer Reading Program with a tie-dye T-shirts activity (July 26).
